Hi. I am Elif. I am from Bursa, Turkey(a close city to Istanbul) I was born and raised there. . I studied translation and interpretation before and I continued my studies in Catholic University in Paris. I am currently studying German as a second language and when I graduate I will be a German teacher. Now, I am continuing my studies in Poland. I am an Erasmus student. During my time in Europe, I'd like to visit other countries and I'd like to get to know European people and their culture.
I can speak English, French and German fluently. Also, I love playing piano. I am a professional piano player since many years. I gave many concerts in Turkey. I also have a YouTube channel, I upload videos of me playing piano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and also get to know the local people as well. This way I think I can learn more about those countries and their culture as well.

Since I was a kid, I was always had many foreign friends through real life and also internet. Communicating with them made me want to learn many languages as I can. So it became my passion through the years.
Before my travels, I decided to download this app. This way, I think I can build many friendships. I can get to know others, I can get to know their cultures more. I'd like to see how local people live.

I love to play piano as well. I am really interested in art. I love reading books as well. Reading makes me more peaceful and expand my ability to dream. I love doing sports as well. Dancing is also my passion, I used to be a ballet dancer, but unfortunately I gave a long break years ago..
