Hi everyone, I'm Elina!

I'm a 25 year old globetrotter. I have lived a large part of my life abroad and in recent years I have returned to my native French Alps. I've been working as a physiotherapist and now it's time for a break: I'm traveling to South Korea and Japan with my boyfriend Olav for one month! He is a 26 years old Norwegian (although far from a viking!) living in France. He's done with is master and ready for new adventures!

Having lived one year with host families as part of an AFS exchange program (Quebec and Norway), we are both very interested in cultural exchanges, exploring new places and their people. What better way to do so than meet people through Couchsurfing :D

We are active people who like hiking, skiing, surfing among other activities out in the nature. We speak fluently English, French, Spanish and Norwegian, however, we hope to learn some new words in other languages!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, we're new on the app but this is not the first time we're either staying or lodging. The thing we learned and loved from those experiences: SHARING CULTURES !

Music: We really love music !! It's hard to choose one favorite because we listen to all types, and all the time

Movies: Ok, I think we'll have to share this part in two because we don't agree on the same favorite movie ! :D Olav loves "The Lord of the Rings" and for me (probably the most mainstream answer) it would be "The Shawshank Redemption".

Books: Real story books, nature, drama and crime
