Hello,
my name is Elina Decker and I'm 22 years old. I'm from Germany, currently living in Mannheim. I did Work and Travel in New Zealand and now I'm trying to travel as much as possible in Europe.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While travelling through New Zealand I experienced so much kindness, and I would love to give other people this experience as well. Since I'm not travelling right now Couchsurfing is a fun way to still meet other people and get to know other cultures. I study in Mannheim and live in a shared flat, so it might vary if we can host someone. I still feel like I can learn so much from Mannheim so we could explore it together. Or maybe explore the beautiful Heidelberg, which is really close! Anyway I would love to give other travellers a place to stay if they need to.

兴趣

I like to read a good book or exploring the outside. We have really nice places in Mannheim.
Of course while travelling I had to cook for myself, but I wouldn't say I'm that good at it, so I would enjoy cooking together and learning new dishes. I will give my best to give you a good german meal!

音乐、电影和书籍

I don't really have a favorite book, but I enjoy every genre from a good thriller to a heartbreaking lovestory. Lately I'm reading Sebastian Bergman by the swedisch authors Hjorth & Rosenfeldt.
The book-serie I connected with my childhood ( and which I love!) has to be Harry Potter!

It's almost the same with the music, I don't have a favorite genre. It depens on how I'm feeling. But my favorite Artist have to be:
Kings of Leon
Florence and the Machine
Adele
Catfish and the Bottleman
Ed Sheeran
And some old music like:
Frank Sinatra
The Doors
Nina Simone

Of course I also watch Movies but I'm not as much into it as with Books and Music. Again I watch almost everything.

Swimming with dolphins was pretty awesome!
And doing my first Great Walk, the Kepler Track.

I can teach you German and maybe a little bit about the food- I would love to cook for you but I can't promise that it will be the best food in your life. But I will give my best!
