Hey citizens of the world!

I'm Elina (26) from the western part of Germany. A carpenter and design-student (always open for creative stuff or projects), happy little bean and crazy about different cultures and getting to know new people and their way of living/thinking. Travel-addict, animal lover, good listener but always up for a wonderful discussion and for new adventures.

After travelling the world for one year while surfing on different sofas, I experienced by myself how it feels to have a home away from home and to meet strangers who become friends within seconds! I love this way of sharing and caring for each other and I am looking forward to all the other people I will meet in the future through this community.

Sure, I could meet people from all over the world by travelling from hostel to hotel but this is the best chance to get to know the locals. I'm interested in the culture of a country and there's no better way to get in touch than living with a local and see the country through his/her eyes! You discover the country through the people while you are "a part" of their life - at least for a moment!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I discovered the Northern part of Vietnam with a motorbike, went through amazing landscapes, met lovely people and reached China. I can't express how wonderful these days have been!
