ABOUT ME

I took my first big solo trip in 2012, and haven't been able to stop backpacking ever since.

Originally from Finland, now travelling through all of the weirdest places I can think of. Lover of weird museums, beer, extremely isolated hiking trails and anything sweet, and I absolutely WILL pet any animal that lets me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Technically I'm not living anywhere so I can't host anyone, so I'm just rudely taking advantage of everyone's kindness. Sorrynotsorry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couchsurfing a few times now and the experiences have been really positive. Still a surfing rookie tho!

兴趣

Obviously, travelling: on a budget as long as it involves cheesecake.

Hiking, yoga, zumba - pretty much any kind of sport that I can do even if I do it badly (because I will).

Writing: I've got a travel blog and sometimes my Instagram captions are funny.

Photography: I suck at both photography and editing, but I love it anyway.

Netflix: Currently re-watching Friends. I always thought of myself as a Chandler, but I'm starting to find a little Joey and Phoebe in me, too. I also love watching horror movies while browsing Instagram on my phone so that I get distracted and don't feel so scared.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once worked on a cattle station and hitchhiked 600 kilometers through Australian outback in one day to get there. Once there, I was put horseback and told to muster a huge bull back into the herd, but instead the bull ran in the opposite direction and I lost my hat. (Maybe that's why I was fired after just three weeks 🤔)
