About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for a (slightly) design-related internship

ABOUT ME

I'm Eline, an Industrial Design student two months away from my Bachelor's degree. Since my mind won't make itself up about what next big thing to commence after this, I decided to stay indecisive for a while and let life happen. Looking forward to meeting new people and sharing thoughts/experiences/adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Science of Sleep, studio Ghibli, Quentin Tarantino, anything with Bill Murray in it

Music: Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Boards of Canada, Amon Tobin, Bat For Lashes, James Holden, Fever Ray, Queens of the Stone Age, Caribou, Nick Drake, to name some artists I can't get enough of. Besides this I like music from several different genres but my taste might be described as randomly picky. I am certainly not the 'I like pretty much everything' kinda type.

Books: mostly novels. Recently enjoyed books from Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Safran Foer, Oscar Wilde, Lionel Shriver, Paul Auster

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pushing a Suzuki Swift low on fuel and with summer tires up a hairpin turn road in the Ardennes during a snow storm at night.. We thought we were going to have to camp out in the car and possibly freeze to death but luckily friends came to save us in a four wheel drive landrover. We had to retrieve the car the next day from what turned out to be the edge of a very deep canyon, armed with a jerrycan of gasoline and a set of jump leads. I must confess it all secretly felt very adventurous. But my parents can NEVER know about this!

Countries I’ve Visited
