I hate clichés but... here I go..

Hello everyone! First of all, welcome to my profile! Second of all, I hope I can give you a little taste of how/ who I am, but I must say there is so much more once you get to know me. I don't even understand myself, so I find it quit hard to try to explain to people how to understand me as a person.

I finished my bachelor degree in Social Work (more specific as a Youth Worker for socially vunerable youngsters) in september 2017. Coming home after an amazing life- changing erasmus trip to Slovenia and having lived there for about 6 months, i had no idea what to do with myself and started working for a while. I recently decided to go back to school and in the meantime to work and ofcourse.. travel a bit!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I already visited a lot of countries, met a lot of amazing people and shared the most beautiful moments with them, but I never really traveled alone for a long period (I'm trying to make a change to that). But still, the people I was with and the people I've met on the road showed me how much enriching travelling can be. That's why I've decided to go along with the flow and never stop doing that!

The main reason why I couchsurf, is because of financial reasons (to be completely honest). I think there is so much more to a travel where you can leave the main costst and put that money into making the best of your time there and seeing everything/ doing everything you dreamed of. For me, a place to sleep just needs to be safe and dry, I don't need a lot to be satisfied!

Second reason is the hospitality. I really believe in an utopic world where everyone would help eachother out and where we can all count on each other. Thankfully, there are initiatives like couchsurfing who connects the people with the same mindset. Those people usually have a lot of beautifull stories and I just know I can learn so much about them and their experiences.

My favorite movie would be 'little miss sunshine'; it is really old but for me it makes the point that nothing, nor you have to be perfect to achieve anything. As long as you surround yourself with good people. And ofcourse the biggest cliché of all: into the wild. This movie represents my own frustrations and questions that rise upon me living in this current society.
