Overview
About Me
So I'm from the US and living and studying in Hamburg....don't have plans on returning any time soon :D
I love learning new things, especially about cooking and music :D
Currently I am studying traditional music, but I'm getting more drawn to fiddle /folk/traditional music. Favorite instrument will always and forever be accordion!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make connections....it's amazing to meet people and listen to their travel stories!
I started thinking about couch surfing as I was traveling through Scotland...it's so meaningful to connect to people, even if you meet them for a brief moment. I'd love to keep this feeling each time I travel...

Movies: godfather, pulp fiction, django, blazing saddles, young frankenstein
Books: David Sedaris, Sophocles, Tina Fey, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Podcasts: Sex Death and Money, and This American Life!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I played a concert on a stage with fire rockets.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very interested in learning about food...
yes I realize my whole profile now is turning into being about food :D
But personally, I think the best way to connect people. Whenever you ask someone about their favorite food when they were a child, their eyes light up.
It's something more than just sustenance, talking about food is sharing memories, culture, tradition, and ultimately a passion for creating something beautiful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
This is going to be obvious...I would love to make you dinner! :D
Also lets talk about music!
And go out and dance!
