ABOUT ME

Hey there! I'm Elisa, a 22-year-old Spanish student from Madrid. I'm about to finish my degree in Media Studies but what I like the most is music. I'm currently working for Mondo Disko, one of the best clubs in Madrid.

I love to hang with international people. I used to be an ESN member, which is a European association that helps Erasmus students with their integration when they arrive to their hosting country.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to move on, fighting against laziness and trying to do something more rather than just existing.

I'm became a member in 2013 while I was living in The Netherlands but I haven't couchsurfed yet.

Interests

I'm crazy about music from techno to folk, reggae or indie: anything that sounds good! I like partying a lot too, I'm Spanish, I know how to have fun :D I also love cinema, it's one of my biggest passions.

I'm fascinated about exploring human conciousness, pyschonautics and entheogenia.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm a huge David Lynch fan. I also enjoy documentaries quite a lot. Other directors I like are for example Wong Kar Wai, Haneke, Terrence Malick, Sofia Coppola, Tarantino... endless list.

Music: Patti Smith is my hero. Apart from her I really like electronic music (techno, deep house, trance...), of course rock legends such as The Doors, The Cure, Van Morrison, Janis Joplin or Jefferson Airplane. Anything that's new and sounds good: The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, The XX. My list here is pretty eclectic.

Books: I enjoy poetry a lot. Authors such as Alejandra Pizarnik, Jaime Gild de Biedma, Allen Ginsberg or Charles Baudelaire. I also like graphic novels and zombie books.
