About Me

Helloooo

I am a 26 year-old girl from Switzerland who loves travelling and is keen to meet new people. I am always very interested in knowing the point of view and life philosophy of the people I meet. ;)

When exploring new places, I love walking around the streets to feel the atmosphere and get a sense of the facets of a culture. I enjoy cultural activities such as museums or festivals. On top of that, I deeply love to connect with nature by hiking in any kind of landscape.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For two main reasons:
- It is always so precious to me to get to know the perspective, opinions and tips of the locals, when I visit a new country/ place! I don't feel fulfilled if I'm under the impression that I only know a place from a touristy point of view

- It sounds cheesy but I believe the world would be a better place if we all shared more and were less individualistic. That's why I love the concept of this app!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love so many different music styles that it is hard for me to pick my favourite ones hihi
I'm listening to music everytime I get the chance so the genre depends on how I feel and what I'm doing.
If I feel energized or happy, I might listen to pop, rap (in french or english) or raeggeton (a style I used to dislike a lot a couple of years ago. Oopsie). If I feel calm or chill, I'll go for alternative music, acoustic jams, jazz, etc.

As for movies, my favs are probably Big Fish and The Help.

I could definitely not pick a favorite book but I can say that I've loved reading the Harry Potter saga, 1984 by George Orwell, Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, La Chute and l'Etranger by Albert Camus, Le Petit Traité de la vie intérieure by Frédéric Lenoir,....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel so lucky to have gone to the Amazon! There was something about being imerged in deep nature that made me feel amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty easy going person and can adapt to vibes!
I would enjoy sharing a drink or a snack/meal with my host to chat with them :)
