About Me
Hi! I'm an spanish nurse living in Brighton (UK) until whenever I feel it's time to go back home.
Discovering new places makes me feel so alive. Although I don't have the chance often to get on a plane to get lost somewhere in the world, I am always dreaming of what place I am going to visit next. I am the one believing that "we are what we live" and it's totally on ourselves how we do that :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is always so much better if you find a local who can show you the best of that place and the unknown, or if you just find someone who is also travelling to the same place and is someone to share experiences with. Sometimes it's all about feeling welcomed and like at home. Coachsurfing is a great idea, suitable for open minded people, for adventurers, explorers and for life lovers :)
I also offer the same for Brighton visitors.
Interests
I am easy going so I enjoy any experience as long as it makes me feel good, nourishing my mind and also my life knowledge. I tell the world: "Yo, surprise me!". We can learn so much from every single person crossing paths in our lives...
I enjoy the plans where I can just chill and socialize, having a meal enjoying the day time, and also some drinks in the evening. Just to imagine you can see the sunshine and the sunset from anywhere in the world and still knowing it's the same sun everywhere.......
I can get seriously amazed by the local gastronomy around the world. Food is something to discover when travelling, a gift for someone's senses and something it belongs to each place and to each culture, is part of the identity...
I Love live music! One single song can make me cry, laugh, smile, goosebumps and to feel euphoria all at the same time, how amazing is that?? If David Bowie knew... I also enjoy (although I don't go that often) going to the theatre and specially musicals. Being a master playing the guitar is still in my wish list...
If my economy is not bad, having a walk around shops (specially local markets getting lost between local people!) can make my day too, and if the sun decides to come out I like to go for a walk. You can always see more from a place if you go walking. A place can have better personal value if you can use all your senses!

Music, Movies, and Books
How good are the rainy evenings at home! Watching a movie is a must, I am not fussy with the generes as long as they are good movies, but I must say the space ones are not my favourite.
The books I've been interested in recently have been the self-help ones, it all depends on the time of the year/life you are in guess. Novels are always my general choice though.
Regarding music... I need music everywhere, even working I play the CDs, and also when showering! It affects my mood in a positive way. Chill out music when doing the chores at home (Kygo mix is in my top list recently), indie pop, dance and alternative music when with friends, Crystal Fighters is a must too, and 50s music as a background when I'm working, Frank Sinatra can calm me down so much! I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL WITH PIANO AND GUITAR, SO I LOVE PEOPLE WHO CAN PLAY AN INSTRUMENT AND CAN DELIGHT ME WITH MUSIC (how easy we can make someone happy sometimes...)!
Teach, Learn, Share
LET EVERYTHING TO FLOW!
Although I am settled in Brighton, my city is Reus (Catalonia) and I wouldn't mind to be a visitors guide there either! Gaudí (the architect who did the famous Sagrada Familia in Barcelona) was born in my city and you can find lots of modernist buildings all around.
About Brighton, the city is charming in all meanings! Really cosmopolitan and feels like it never sleeps (same as NY!), there's lots of cultural offers, and if the weather helps there is other nice places around to visit such as the Pier or the Royal Palace, totally recommended!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can meet up with the visitors in Brighton and show them the good sites in the city, we can also just chill having a tea/coffee/Beer because hey, if you come means you are on holidays aren't you. Sharing experiences with other people feeds our minds!
Unfortunately I share a House so having a host at home is currently not possible :(
