Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined as a back-up when travelling in case I was stuck with no where to sleep, but actually seeing it's potential now! Can't really offer a couch as I house-share unfortunately, but hope to be in a better position to put people up one day...

Interests

I love to read, hike and wander. I love all types of music and am a keen singer - more of a pub/bar person as opposed to clubs, you'll find me at local gigs.

I spend my days dreaming of the next travel opportunity coming - although I firmly believe that you can find adventure in every walk to the shop, recipe you attempt and conversation you embark upon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite book is On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan - recommend it to anyone who wants to challenge their own point of view! Other favourites include George Orwell, Khaled Hossseini, Kate Mosse and Robert Harris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up Cradle Mountain in Tasmania in a pair of soaking wet jeans, then drove a battered up Renault through the snowstorms back to Australia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bath's a nice place, I can show you every single fudge shop and drink you under the table afterwards.
