I am Elisabeth (Liza, Lizi, Liziko, Eli, Liza-Lizi, and who knows, maybe you’ll come up with your own version). I am an artist, an art historian, and above all, a human being. I am delightfully eccentric, full of unexpected turns, and endlessly curious. I adore asking questions (the kind of strange questions no one expects), drawing, photographing everything around me (and later translating those tiny captured details into my paintings), long walks, swimming, cooking, hiking, wandering through forests, and spending time with animals.

My profession and passions often bring me into contact with unusual people, which has, over time, made me both expressive and free-spirited. I believe that the most important things in life are emotional readiness, creativity, and the openness of your inner world. Of course, these traits have led me into mistakes more than once, but the process of learning from them is what truly matters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of creating tiny constellations of connection all over the world — places where I’ve shared food, laughter, silence, or maybe just a weird question or two.

In short: I’m here because I’m curious, because I love people (especially the unusual ones), and because hospitality feels like one of the most human forms of art.
