ABOUT ME

I guess I would say Im normal, whatever that means.
I am originally from Germany, but currently I live in France as I am participating in Erasmus as part of my studies. I enjoy living abroad as you get to meet lots of different people with different views on things and I think it is a really rewarding experience trying to understand other cultures.
What else is there to say about me?
Dont have too many annoying habits (I dont snore :p ) though I do tend to babble and talk complete rubbish occasionally...
I have a talent for getting stuck when travelling, snow storms, volcanic ash clouds, you name it, always had a great time though and met very nice people Im still in contact with. Other than that I move around quite a bit, its difficult to catch me at a certain place as I might be somewhere else already... Im open to new things and will try everything once (or in case of spicy food Ill try as long as it takes me to stop crying when eating it ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to couchsurfing, I stayed some time in Marseille, France where I met some really, really nice people and Im looking forward to my next CS experience! :)
Personally I think couchsurfing is a great concept which makes it possible to get more than just the "tourist" experience out of a journey.

Interests

I like being on the move and exploring new towns, places, etc. One of my favourite things ever is to watch people while having a nice cup of coffee in a café.
Hobby-wise I like reading, swimming, travelling, cooking and baking (especially when you can actually eat the result :p) and in general I like to discover new things, whatever that might be.

Music, Movies, and Books

I ready a lot, in gerneral anything that slightly ressembles a book, lately my favourites have been the Millenium triology and the Earth's children series.
Movie-wise I enjoy classics, Clint Eastwood, Cary Grant, the lot... Not a big fan of remakes at all and anything with too many explosions and car chases ends up on my "never watch again" list.
As far as music goes Im into classic rock and a bit of metal as well, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Slade.....
