Overview
About Me
I used to live in beautiful Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, studying Psychology and International Relations. My region is also called the 'green heart of Germany', because it's so lovely green here
After my undergrad I decided to go for Neuroscience and Neurology but don't ask me how and why, I ended back researching dolphin communication. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and get to know new cultures, food, nature, ... and how can you better than while staying with locals. But furthermore it's a great chance to welcome interesting people at your home or meet them at your trip.
I've made the experience, that even though a day during my trip is not so nice, because the weather is awful or the place doesn't inspire me or because I'm just having a bad day, my Couchsurfing hosts always made the day turn, made the day joyful and rich in the end. Sharing happiness, chearfulness, warmth, company, experience, maybe even a meal, is why I am on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like classical and baroque music, in addition also ballet, opera and musicals. But don't worry - I will not leave the house if the radio is turned on. ;)
I used to read a lot, when I was younger. I stopped, when I left my parents house and I didn'thave the space to take a lot of books with me. Recently I started reading a lot again, all kinds of books, crime thriller, world class literature, short stories, scientifical books, poems ... whatever I can find.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met the pope, I mean, really close, we actually touched. But actually that's nothing I have done, it just happened. ;)
In spring 2018 I did a 7 weeks tour through some Asian countries visiting some of my friends from Finland, making lots of new friends, hitchhiking most of the time ... I came home with lots of good experiences, like meeting some people under a bridge cooking some simple foods (I guess it was some kind of open-air inn). Because I was hungry, I asked for noodles (because it was the only thing I could order), but these people were so friendly and interested, so they invited me to join their meal, before I had to catch a train.
I also spend my Easter celebration on the trip. In the church I met an old couple that adopted me without further ado for the rest of the week.
The most precious experience I made is getting surprised by the circumstances.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge of German language and culture. Also some pieces of other languages, but I am neither an expert in English nor in Polish, French or Spanish. I love to learn languages as well and I just feel uncomfortable if I do not even speak some words of the language of the country I visit. But you might experience that I know only how to say 'hello' and 'thanks'.
We could sing something together.
Or cook a German dish, even though I often struggle to tell, what is typically German. ;)
