Overview
About Me
I am an enthusiastic, cheerful and positive PhD student. I study sustainability and more specifically life cycle assessment.
Since the age of 14 I volunteer at least once a year. Here are some of the things I've done so far:
- I volunteered with disabled people
- I took part in several environmental protection projects
I love cooking Italian food for my hosts and guests. My specialties are homemade pasta, and doughs in general (but don't ask me to prepare anything sweet 🙈).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heared about CS in January 2020 while I was working as an au pair in Ireland. At first I was afraid of staying with strangers but then a friend convinced me to give it a shot.... plot twist covid hit the world and I didn't.
I now live with a CS ambassador and I had fun hosting foreigners and be hosted all around the world 🌎

Music, Movies, and Books
If it happens I like to listen to all kinds of music, but I prefer 60s, 70s, 80s Italian music and rock music of the same years. I also really like Caribbean music. Some artists I listen to are: Zucchero, Vasco Rossi, De Andrè, Muse, Coldplay, Queen, etc.
As for books and movies.... I read little and watch few movies or TV series. The only TV series I watched was casa de papel and I loved it.
I love watching documentaries and movies that can teach me something about a place, a people, a culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may seem trivial, but one of the amazing things I did was to live for 6 months in Ireland as an au pair at the age of 22.
One of the crazy thing I did was to cross the highway in Nairobi (Kenya) 🤣
In Romania, my boyfriend and I accidentally appropriated a hammock that belonged to someone else.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A homemade Romagnolo meal (I really enjoy making pasta and other homemade doughs); board games experience; conversations in English, French, and trivia about Italian dialects.
