One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living one year in Mexico was a dream come true for me.

Some tips for eating out in Helsinki:
Lunch
At lunch time from Monday to Friday almost every restaurant in Helsinki serves special lunch menus or buffets. Lunch time in most places is from 11 am to 2 pm, and cost is around 12-15 euros.
Hoku
Very good quality Hawaijian-Japanese food, very gourmet. Hoku also has great views towards the center if you manage to get near the windows. At lunch time there might be a long line but it's worth the wait! Located in the Kamppi shopping center 5th floor.
Café Esplanadi (closed for renovation until spring 2025)
A traditional cafeteria with very good selection of sweet stuff and salads. Known for their huge "korvapuusti" (cinnamon buns). Located near the shopping streets at Pohjoisesplanadi 37.
Café Regatta
The cutest little café at one of the most beautiful places in Helsinki, Töölö seaside. It's just a few steps from the Sibelius monument and has a large terrace with bonfire. Delicious cinnamon buns ("pulla" or "korvapuusti" in Finnish). Address: Merikannontie 10.
Thai o’cha + Tuktuk + Lemon Grass
There are plenty of small Thai food places in Kallio and these are my top 3. Address: Helsinginkatu 11 (Thai o’cha), Vaasankankatu 19 (Tuktuk), Kolmas linja 12 (Lemon Grass)
Sushibar+wine
My favourite sushi place :) Several locations in the city centre and one next to my home in Hämeentie 19. Lunch prices until 3 pm.
Farang
One of the best fine dining places in Helsinki, owned by top chef Tomi Björck. His other restaurants (eg. Gaijin) are also amazing! Asian style food with modern twist. Address: Arkadiankatu 6.
