Brainstorming, I think that the concept of hybrid culture mix describes me sort of well, as I grew up in Italy being mainly raised by my German mum. This has made me in different occasions to the vegetable in the fruit salad, since I often don't really fit in any of the boxes. However, there is a good side about it, since it got me used to a plurality of ways of thinking and made me curious about other cultures out there in the world.

I have lived in four different countries so far, which made me discover the funny and exciting process of reinventing myself in different cultural and social settings. I love getting to know new places, and more than once this ended up in me seriously considering to move there at some point of my life.

The five years I spent living in Berlin have turned me into a lover of electronic music (which I could have never guessed before!) and to a wanna-be hip hop dancer - despite my 'career' is already sort of over.

Currently, I am studying public policy in Budapest. Again, as a wanna-be .. world changer.

This is where my description of myself comes to an end. Has been hard enough so far, so I'ld rather introduce myself personally - usually that works better anyway ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Since I heard about couchsurfing, I have always wanted to try it out. As I guess most people on here, I think the best way to get to know a place is to have someone from there showing you around or giving good hints. It is also a great way to get to know people with different background - which I believe is what makes most of travelling around so fascinating.

As I finally have the opportunity to travel again, I decided to give it a shot.
