Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi there! My name's Elise and I'm 20 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology and working full-time at my university.
Fun facts about me:
- Definitely an extraverted person, I love getting out and experiencing things but I'm also down for just relaxing and having a great conversation
- I'm a dog person, but lately I've been warming up to cats...
- LOVE musicals! They're great. Music is great in general. Also play a bit of piano!
- I'm half Italian! However, I only know phrases that suck up to my Nonna e.g. 'Amo la Nonna di piu'
- Love a bit of anime, which people often don't expect from my personality
- I travelled around Australia for a year when I was younger, so I've been most places (as well as previously living in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane)
- Volunteering and social justice is a big part of my life, I find meaning in others happiness and wellbeing
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm definitely after an authentic experience, I'd rather live in with someone who'd be happy to show me what day-to-day life is like rather than staying in a hotel. I really want to broaden my horizons and meet some amazing people!
I'd love to make friends and offer the opportunity to host them once I return to Australia :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: Studio Ghibli films, love Disney and Pixar movies, Back to the Future, The Great Debaters, any film following a true story
Books: Iqbal, The Boy in Striped PJ's, Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hobbit, Lord of the Flies, The BFG
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I'd say travelling around Australia for a year! I think sometimes we always seek out other countries and believe we can only have a changing experience by crossing a stretch of water. I feel that I'm extremely fortunate that I got to see the regional, untouched parts of my country - from the Hamersley Ranges to Ningaloo Reef, to Mataranka Springs. I love that I've been able to see what's at my back door before I start exploring the rest of the world.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Absolutely anything! I'm an open book :)
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
My stories and experiences, my sense of humour, discussions about life and meaning, my fascination of hearing others stories and lives, and ultimately a great experience we'd both be able to look back on with fond memories.
