About Me

Hi y'all !

I am a French soul currently living in Montreal, Quebec. I mostly share my time between studying towards my Ph.D degree, juggling, playing capoeira angola, playing music, and enjoying a drink or an afternoon at the park with friends.

One of my main objectives in life: travelling, discovering new places and new people. I do not know any better travel experience but hanging out with local people. I love nature, I love big cities (mostly for their cultural life). Living in Montreal, I definitely enjoy all the fests going around the city, and try to go out in National parks as often as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually experienced couchsurfing way before registering here, but only hosting or being hosted by friends of friends. I felt that it was now time for me to extend my experience to the whole world out here!

My best travelling experiences have always been when I could share some time with locals or people met on the road. Being here is the best way for this to continue!

Interests

Everything related to arts and expression through art. I am a juggler and capoeira angola practionner, and I play different musical instruments since my yougest age.

I am overall open to any type of talk from arts, to literature, to travels and cultures, and of course, science which is part of my daily life as a Ph.D. student in Machine Learning and Image Processing.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a music lover, my favorite bands are kind of heteroclite going from X Japan, to Youngblood Brass Band, to Jack Johnson, to French folk bands such as La Rue Ketanou, Les Ogres de Barback or Tryo. I also love spoken word (especially Shane Koyczan) in French or in English.

I love reading novels. Currently trying to get on French literature classics.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to juggle!

Always happy to improve on any language I started to learn (especially Japanese which I study on a daily basis, Spanish, and Portugese) and to help anyone to improve on French :)
