hello!

i am a social girl from norway, who loves to meet new people and explore cultures. i grew up in a beautiful city on the west coast of norway, called bergen. when i was 16 years old, i left the city for an exchange year and moved into an old sailing vessel, exploring the atlantic. after finishing school in bergen after that, i decided to move to an island between norway and the north pole, called svalbard. i went to a folk high school there, focusing on expeditions and life in the arctic.
for the moment i am living in hoi an in vietnam, studying development.

i really like artists like the beatles, the smiths, janis joplin, lou reed, manu chao, and francoise hardy. i also like more modern music like tame impala, erykah badu, and aurora. i am into "joik", which is music from the indigenous people in norway and i love music from my hometown.

when it comes to books, i enjoyed the book "sapiens" by yuval noah harari, and i have read numerous autobiographies of famous adventurers. authors like gert nygårdshaug and pedro carmona-alvarez are one of my favourites.

a movie that really made an impression on me was "14 summits: nothing is impossible" about nirmal purja and his friends climbing all the 14 peeks over 8000 meters whitin 6 months and 6 days!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i sailed to an island between south america and africa, called saint helena. it was a wonderful place and we dived with whale sharks and i met the longest living animal living on land; the tortoise jonathan which is now 190 years old.
