Hi there ! I'm Elise and eager for adventure.
In my free time I juggle between climbing, environmental activism and friends : Netflix is not so mine ! I'm studying journalism, this is why I love to talk about politics, what is happening all round the world and asking stupid questions.
I love to learn about languages and cultures, which is the reason why I'm taking all the opportunities to escape from my (lovely !) home country to go abroad. For my studies, I've lived in Germany, France and Spain so far, I'm grateful to have been able to discover so much and meet so many beautiful persons.
Travelling takes a important part in my life, every vacation is an occasion to build up a project, take my backpack and go discovering what the world has to offer ! Now I'm travelling to do radio and documentary reports (actually no, I do reports in order to travel!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've started travelling for a few years and what I remember the most were the people I met abroad. Couchsurfing has been and will be the perfect way to meet local people to discover their culture, world view and lifestyle. I remember every chilling evening at host's places or at my place, sharing funny travelling stories around a nice meal. In addition to helping, welcoming couchsurfers at my place is a bit like offering myself a small piece of travalling in the everyday-life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, espacially rock and pop from the 80's and 90's. Since I lived in Barcelona, you can also see me dancing on reggaeton music (but only after a glass of sangria !)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My greatest memory was a hike in the French Alps: a breath-taking landscape. Beeing surrounded by a wild and pure nature is such an occasion to think about the meaning of life and how little our existence is.
