About Me
Hey all !
I'm Elise, and my curiosity hasn't met it's borders yet.
I'm a musician : I played the piano and strummed my guitar for a few years before I realized that singing is what really gets me high.
I studied some of the world's most fascinating cultures through their music during my bachelor and I hope that someday, I could get to those places.
I'm also a big lover of food, and without being a real tree-hugger, I try as much as I can to keep it good, fresh and healthy. I am not a bad cook and I'm pretty much fearless when it comes to cooking leftovers or with whatever I find (as the Italians say "Quello che c'è") and I will take the blame in case it's a deep f&@kup ;) .
I enjoy late summer nights out and late nights in with a warm teapot and a friendly conversation. I enjoy walking and bike riding , and I enjoy searching for everything that a city has to offer, be it a nice cafe in a hidden street or a new friend.
See you soon, maybe !

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is rather eclectic and I think that aside from french Rap and R&B after 1990 and maybe techno and hardcore metal, I like everything.
I really enjoy jazz, folk, pop, indie singer-songwriters. Naming a few : Piers Faccini, KT Tunstall (the early stuff), Cat Power, Ella Fitzgerald, Raphael Gualazzi, Krystle Warren, The Beatles (of course), John Mayer, Janis Joplin, Etta James, Amy Winehouse….
On the Opera side, I am an unconditional fan of the German soprano Diana Damrau as well as Mariella Devia, Cecilia Bartoli, Joyce DiDonato, Bryn Terfel, René Pape and countless others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosting a friend from Denmark in Paris a few years ago, we climbed the stairs up the Eiffel Tower under chaotic heat, and we licked the Eiffel Tower.
What I Can Share with Hosts
