About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer, and just finished an editorial internship at a publishing house in London, called Anthem Press. I graduated from university this December, with a BA in English and Evolutionary Biology. I love traveling (obviously, thus why I'm couchsurfing) and exploring old and news places in unique ways. Dancing, wine, music, museums, theater...anything and everything creative! And natural science museums are also a favorite of mine. And FOOD. Traveling for me is 95% about the food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I usually don't have time to be a tour guide during the day. I happily provide sleeping space and amenities, but I expect my surfers to entertain themselves during their stay. That being said, I'm always amenable to sharing a meal or a drink in the evenings!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited, but so far so good :) I have yet to surf myself, but I've hosted a guy from Argentina, a guy from Italy, and a girl from France. I think all three were definitely positive experiences.
This year I haven't hosted at all because I've barely stayed in one place, and our apartment in Poland is already quite crowded, with 2 rooms for 3 people. But when I get back to the US, I'd like to start hosting again!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm...I really can't decide. In no particular order, here are three memories that rank within my top ten: 1) walking amongst the cholla cacti of Joshua tree in California 2) seeing Verdi's Aida in London's acoustically unparalleled Royal Abert Hall 3) Drunkenly attempting to make a bonfire with four of my best friends, and failing because we didn't have any paper to help the big logs to catch the flame. Then consequently deciding the next best thing to burn would be our clothes, which we did, resulting in waking up in a field, naked, with no idea how to get back to the city without getting arrested and/or become the latest youtube sensation.
