ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Elise 😁

I grew up in the norwegian fjords but I still act like a tourist whenever I move around in this scenery..totally in love with the view. I also love seing new places and I think the best way to experience a new place is with someone local!

I'm a social educator and I currently live and work at in a rehab facility for teens where I spend most of my time. That's why I don't host atm, unless you're lucky enough to catch me while roadtripping in my RV, then there's space 😁

I like animals, especially dogs and dogtraining. I like hiking, gamenights, partying and interresting discussions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2012 was a busy spring and summer for hosting and meeting :) I had in total 7 groups from different countries and I had great fun hosting all of them. I don't host much anymore because I live at my job for 3 weeks each month.

Hosting was great way to get to know a little bit about the cultures and coutries these visitors are from and to exchange stories and spend a goood time with new friends. I have met several of my guests again while traveling or hosting again.

Lately I've been using couchsurfing for meeting people in the areas where I'm traveling and for surfing. I am a bit new to being the couch guest, but so far it has been truly amazing.

I am open to meet up in Norway as long as I have time off, maybe to go hiking or camping.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- spending a lot of time in Palestine, learning about culture and language
- sailing over to Shetland and back.
- also my line of work gives me sooo many meaningful encounters with interresting people
- getting an RV exploring Norway during covid

I am an expert in appreciating any moment, so
there has been thousands of amazing moments spent with family, friends, strangers or animals at home or while travelling around :)

Sharing my views or knowledge of the norwegian culture/habits/language or any of my interests.
I will keep it clean and tidy arround me.
I would love spending time with the host, but I will also have no trouble being independent and on my own if there's no opportunity to hang out.
