ABOUT ME

I m a young open minded girl. Have been a vegatarian for almost 10 years and Vegan since 2012. I love to cook and taste new things. I like to be creative, read books, meet new people, travel, take pictures, listen to music...
I studied psychology, (after years of postponing I'm finally finished my thesis two years ago, so I got my masters degree) but i'd rather like to do something more creative for my living... maybe i'll get there in a few years, we'll see.. time will tell.. for now i like to see the world, soak up some sun and enjoying my time on earth as much as possible..

I'm Currently traveling (5th-25th May 2015) with my boyfriend Tijs. He is a fulltime musician and he recently recorded his first solo album. (You can check him out on youtube with his band Sir Yes Sir if you want, they are really great!)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in april 2007 I went to Amsterdam with a friend and we were hosted by two couchsurfers. It was my first experience and it was so nice. We talked a lot and the second couchsurfer even invited us to his private party. I have the feeling that you get to know the city much better by couchsurfing, not only the usual touristic stuff but also the great special places where the locals go. Later on in 2007 i've been hichhiking trough France and stayed in Marseille and Nice for a couple of days.. couldn't been better! 2008 I went to Barcelona for ten days, super is an understatement, it was the best it could be. 2013 I hitchhiked all the way from Belgium to Senegal without paying 1 night for a bed (Thank you CS!). Traveled a month in Costa Rica (2014) and Thailand (2015) as well. I try to host and surf whenever it's possible.. :-)
