My name's Eli Snyder and I'm a full-time traveller who is passionate about seeing the world and connecting with people! In February 2023 I quit my corporate job to pursue my passion of traveling and connecting with strangers around the world -- I share my travels on Tiktok, Instagram, and YouTube at @snydexplores

A little bit about me: I moved around the United States growing up before my family settled in Kansas City, where I spent most of my childhood. I then went to college at the University of Michigan and graduated in 2021. During these years, I took as many trips to foreign countries as I could, spending any money I made from jobs or internships on travel. After graduating from college, I moved to Denver to work a big boy job, putting my dream of travelling on the back-burner. I worked hard to save money and accomplished other goals of mine like becoming skydive certified and running a marathon.

Once my lease was up in February 2023 and I had enough money saved up, I knew it was my time to pursue my dream. Thus, I moved all of my possessions into storage and booked a one-way flight to New Zealand! I’ve been traveling since then and use Couchsurfing to make connections when it fits my schedule 🤙

and one of the experiences I value most when traveling is connecting with strangers and making friends. I truly mean it when I say I can make friends everywhere I go… even if we don’t speak the same language we will share some laughs together 😂
