Enjoy each other and every inch of our journey from USA to our new home in BR, taking our sweet time on the way.

ABOUT ME

A laid back couple that likes to travel, relax and learn. We are almost 2 months at the road now and so far we are having a great time - some doubted that we could put up with each other 24hrs a day for 2 months.

So far we have been in Turkey, Greece and Italy. We learned how to ride a scooter, to play backgammon and to enjoy tea every morning at breakfast.

On the practicalities, we like to go out, but we do not drink or smoke. We enjoy learning/listening to people we met at the road - it can be about history, art, games, music, sport, personal life, others...
We are also are proud parents of Bibi - the cutest cat and Foxy - a girlie dog.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first hear about the community in Nov. 2009 and loved the idea. However, just now we are taking the time to read more carefully about it. So up to this point, we have not actually got more engaged than simply writing a bit about us and reading about other members. Just sent 4 CS request, not lucky so far - but excited!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although new in the CS Project, in the past as a student, my house of always open to friends and friends of friends. Something I learned with my mum that used to say: The house is small but just like a mother's heart, there is always room to one more.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

It is kind of silly, but it was very special for me. So one the amazing experiences I had was when I dove more than 2,000 ft depth in the Johnson Sea-Link Submersible out of the coast of FL. While we were going up we could see the bioluminesce produced by some water organism and it looked like fairy dust - it felt like I was 5 years old and I was dreaming.
