I am Eliza, pronounced as Eh-lee-za. I was born in Yakutsk, Siberia, but spent my adulthood in St. Petersburg. Now I reside in Hungary working as a mentor for children in an afterschool. I love art, photography, travelling, learning foreign languages, and meeting new people :)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Travelling around Europe is, perhaps, my main hobby, and after staying in dozens of hostels I decided to add a bit of razzle-dazzle in my trips by socializing through Couchsurfing.

- I was born in the coldest place in the world. Pretty ‘amazing’, huh?
- Moved 9000 km away from home at 18 completely on my own;
- Did zip lining in the jungle in Thailand when I was only 12 surrounded by spiders and snakes. Thanks, mom!
- Stood in the line for Beyoncé’s concert in Stockholm for 14 hours!
