Overview
About Me
I have an insane, unquenchable hunger for all places I've never been.
The problem seems to be that the more places I go, the more the hunger grows.
I love connecting with this mother we call Earth, and I love adventures.
I can make nearly anything into an adventure, because all it takes is a little imagination.
I am lucky enough to live, with my Boyfriend of 8 years, in the beautiful desert near Zion National Park, and when I can't adventure elsewhere you can find me in the surrounding area exploring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of travelers helping travelers. I would love to utilize the kind graces of others in my travels and I would love to offer the same courtesy.
The knowledge and secrets of a local are much richer than a brochure in a hotel.
Interests
I love hiking, biking, rafting, taking pictures and editing them for fun, listening to music, coloring books, reading novels, and eating good food.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all genres of music, I just don't like all music in all genres. Hell, I don't even like all music from any one artist.
I like music that speaks to whatever emotion is on my sleeve.
I have a rough time sitting through most movies. They lose my interest 1/2 way through.
For this reason, I prefer series. The series that has me currently captivated is Vikings. Although, it has been as radically opposite as Downton Abbey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I played classical violin for 15 years and toured Europe and China with my orchestra.
Oh, and I was born into a polygamist culture and managed to escape that so... Now I've either intrigued you or scared you away. Lol.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have much to teach, though I probably have more opinions than I'd care to admit. But for the most part, I enjoy getting to hear another's point of view, and way of being. That's why I'm so fascinated by culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hm... I can share stories, souvenirs, and I can cook a meal (though I'm not the best cook I know).
If you have a piano or a fiddle I can play a little jig.
