I grew up in a small beach town in the California Bay Area, mostly studying art and natural sciences and traveling the American West as much as possible!
I've bounced around a little-- used to work in a costume shop, but currently work in an ethical, artisanal factory to pay the bills!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been lucky enough to travel with school and/or family, but want to take more opportunities to do so independently!
It's almost a shame I can't camp everywhere, but I've always had the best experiences as the result of local know how and hospitality!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to make music bad! It happens, but it's rare that a whole genre gets it wrong...I guess I'm saying I like a lot of music and I don't want to be a d*ck about it.
I read a lot of fiction like (and including) Game of Thrones. I occasionally branch out into non-fiction, but I tend to be lazy about it!
