ABOUT ME

I'm pretty fun and easy going. I'm a senior at UNCA studying music. I can be a bit messy, but I know how to get things cleaned up for guests.

I love contra dancing, live music, baking, chilling at home with a glass of wine and a movie, or going out to hang out with friends. I'm definitely a night owl. I might have some time to show you around or go out with you, but it all depends on my work schedule and my school workload.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life, love people (I know...so cliche!). Sometimes I don't do these well, but I want to at least always try to improve.

I can usually host (just depending on my schedule and would love to be able to stay with other surfers on my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to the Couchsurfing world. I've hosted once so far and I'm looking for places to stay while I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I want to be taken away to another place when I read or watch movies (maybe that's also what I like about travel). I like feel good movies and books that can carry me away in the stories. I enjoy things like Harry Potter, Narnia and LOTR (the books and movies)

I love music in general (that's why I'm a music major, I guess). Some of my favorite artists at the moment are The Head and the Heart, Noah Gundersen, The Shadowboxers, The Paper Kites, Brett Dennen, Young the Giant, and City and Colour. Basically I'm a sucker for good vocal harmonies!

I got to meet Obama on a choir trip to perform at the White House.
