I'm Canadian and have a passion for travel. I have lived abroad in Nicaragua for 5 years. However, aside from that I haven't had the opportunity to travel much, but that's about to change! I like the idea of travelling because ever since I was a kid I was always obsessed with foreign languages and learning everything I could about other people's cultural heritage. I love psychology, anthropology, and the humanities in general. I also enjoy creative writing. Ultimately, I care more about meeting locals and broadening my cultural horizons more than anything else. I don't really like touristy places. I'd describe my personality as intense, deep, kind, fiercely loyal, and a touch eccentric.

I have eclectic taste. I love symphonic metal, rock, electronic, dark wave, future pop, folk, and some experimental genres. My favourite bands are Lacuna Coil, IAMX, Assemblage 23, A.F.I. etc.

I love fantasy, drama, thriller, science fiction, and some horror. E.g. LOTR, Harry Potter etc. I love anything written by Anne Rice and Edgar A. Poe. I'm looking to discover more authors, so please feel free to recommend.

I love anything alternative or counter-culture.

I survived tough times living in a poverty stricken country, among other things. Oh, the stories I could share.... I swear I have a book in me.
