I'm a 24 year old Kindergarten Teacher living in Ichinomiya, Aichi, Japan with my boyfriend Keita and our Chihuahua Blau-kun. Ichinomiya is about 10 minutes by train from Nagoya. I have been living in Japan for almost 2 years now teaching 3-4 year olds at a private Kindergarten. I'm from Ohio, and I attended Ohio University where I got a bachelors degree in linguistics. I studied French for 9 years but I'm not as fluent as I once was.

I understand deep, insatiable wanderlust! I think everybody should have the opportunity to travel the world at any age, and I think after finances, a big hindrance for people from traveling is a fear of cultural and language barriers and a fear of the unknown! I want people to feel comfortable and like they're at home while experiencing a completely different culture. I packed my bags immediately after university and moved to Japan without knowing anybody and I don't regret a single bit of it. I'd love to host people who have the same fearless attitude!

Music, eating amazing new foods, collecting vinyls, puppies, and traveling! My boyfriend and I have an awesome record collection, he plays bass and I dabble on ukulele. Sometimes we jam. would love to hang out with someone with musical interests!
