Hi! So my name is Elizabeth but most people just call me Liz, whichever you prefer to use is fine by me. I'm from a small town in Maine, USA but I'm currently studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain (which means I unfortunately can't host anyone right now). I just joined couchsurfing so don't let my lack of reviews throw you off, I promise I'm really nice and easy to get along with. I am a Neuroscience major with a Spanish minor back at my University in the States and I play rugby there too!

I have always been really interested in other cultures and I can't think of a better way to learn about them than having the opportunity to live in them. I don't just want to be a tourist in a country, I want to see what life is like for a local there. I also really love meeting people and although I typically come across as shy at first I am a great listener. I love to hear stories and share my own too; and I love being able to connect with people through little similarities in our experiences.
