Overview
About Me
I'm an American living in Cairo. I am a writer, and used to teach English in Jordan and Chad. I studied International Relations, African Studies, and Arabic at Michigan State University.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted with some of my roommates before, and we had great experiences with our guests. We kept in touch with some of them, and I have even met up again with some when our paths crossed in another country! I think couchsurfing is a really cool way to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day decided I was going to live in Cairo, it's been my home ever since.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, all the bad words in Arabic, or how to read music. I would like to learn bits of any language, especially French. And maybe how to cook.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My own travel stories, a listening ear to their stories, and a comical attempt at cooking
