Fine Arts graduate from the University of Louisville, Louisville KY born and raised. My focus in school was printmaking, specifically screen printing and I love lino cut as well. I've done lots of traveling in Europe and have been to Puerto Rico and plan to continue traveling throughout my life. Travel and meeting new people is what I live for. I'm very laid back and chill and love to have long, deep conversations about life, art, philosophy and culture and I have a few funny/interesting stories to share over a glass of wine.

Traveling has taught me that to adapt and accommodate is the best way to get yourself out there and have amazing, fulfilling and life changing experiences. While hostels and motels have provided comfortable and reliable lodging many times, couch surfing is obviously the most affordable and most authentic way to stay in a new place. Having a local put a roof over your head and sometimes hang out with you and give you advice about the area is crucial to having the best experience. I don't have any references because my account has been inactive for a while, but I have couch surfed before in Iceland and Scotland with my friend through her account, but hopefully I can get accepted and start building a better profile.

The best thing about traveling is being able to learn about lives other than my own be they locals of the area I travel to or travelers themselves. I believe that different cultures and life styles are what make humanity beautiful and mixing and mingling with as many different people from as many different places and experiences as possible is the best way to gain an understanding of just how grand and vast this world is and destroys prejudices and false assumptions about the world.
