Yearly I travel to Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky to visit various family as well as Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. At times I would like to stay somewhere just for a night or two with other than family either because they already have guests or I just want a breather from visiting relatives. Am 50/50 extrovert/introvert so some contact is appreciated and also enjoy alone time later on. Tend to be tidy and an early riser but can be very quiet about it! Am flexible, more country- oriented than city, enjoy art and outdoors, exploring, learning, meeting new people. Love to dance. Appreciate quiet and solitude, but also a good party and/or dinner with others! Look forward to meeting you! Thank you for being on this website!

Because I'm adventurous and enjoy meeting new people. Prefer going off the beaten track a bit. Heard Couchsurfing is a good alternative and economical although am also trying other sites, too. I live in Santa Rosa, the Sonoma wine country, a little over an hour north of San Francisco. Will consider having guests here, too, in the future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Bought a house in Todos Santos, Baja, MX in 2005 (one hour NW of Cabo San Lucas) with late husband. He passed in 2010. I continued to drive down there, often by myself until 2022 when I sold it. So enjoyed the people, country, culture, the porch with a little slice of ocean in the distance! Did spanish immersion three times living with a mexican couple twice and once with a widow. Good people!

Experience of teaching 6th graders at Glen Ellen, an outdoor education center connected with Antioch College in Ohio and 6th graders in inner city of Dayton, Ohio. Experience of living in California for 30+ years after leaving Ann Arbor, Michigan where I went to graduate school. Was counselor and consultant for staff at Pacific Bell, Kaiser Permanente, and before that for two city governments and one college. Also taught interactive week-long class in communication skills to managers and union stewards at Ford Motor, Stress Management three- day class to support staff, and Communication Skills and Assertive Behavior to HMO managers. Retired now and so enjoy the free, spontaneous life!
