I love learning, and, up until now, most of my life has been focused on school. I just endured 6 years of graduate school at UCSF getting my PhD in neuroscience! I'm interested in neuroscience/psychology/why we think and act the way we do, and during graduate school became very interested in meditation, in part because of the stresses of graduate school, but also because, intellectually, I find being in different states of mind fascinating.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is my first time on couchsurfing! I'm looking to learn some new things and have an adventure outside of comfort zone. I'm going on a 3-week meditation retreat near Chiang Mai to try going deeper into my meditation practice (this involves much silence and not much talking), so afterwards I am sure I will want to talk to people, share stories, and share experiences.
