ABOUT ME

I am an artist living in Brooklyn. I enjoy traveling--internationally and within the US. I spent 4 months living in India during 2013, and now am looking forward to exploring more of America. I work primarily in photography, weaving, and drawing for my art. I am also involved in sustainable urban agriculture projects and love cooking, baking, and preserving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed twice, while visiting Portland, but the experience was great. Now I get why so many people are so into CS!

Talking Heads. Anna Karenina. 2001: A Space Odyssey is probably the closest thing to cinematic perfection that I can think of.

The Wire and The Sopranos are also very important to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a Ghanaian man walking down the street in Ghana wearing a shirt with just a picture of Christopher Walken's face on it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about photography, specifically film and darkroom printing and processing. I also know about urban farming and I cook/bake a lot. I can teach you how to knit or crochet, and some really great ways to braid your hair.
