I'm open minded, love life and have the opinion that its all about your outlook and see the positives in everyone and 99% of situations. Laughter is an essential part of everyday.

I have been very fortunate to follow my passion of travelling since graduating university in 2009, so far I have traveled to over 30 countries. I worked & traveled Australia for 2 years, and spent a year and half living in New Zealand.

My passions are, Diving, travelling; exploring new places and getting a feel for a place / culture first hand, meeting people from a different walk of life, and learning their story

I have a keen interest in psychology (INFP), animal welfare and environmental protection, amongst other things. I'm always up for a good free flowing 'deep' conversation, on any topic.

I'm currently in the UK, I'm taking this opportunity to build a new understanding of my local area, and other places in the UK, embracing meeting new people, especially those who have an interest in animal welfare / environmental concerns.

My next big trip is Dec 2017 to New Zealand, where I will start a 2 year visa (July 2018 - October 2018 - I will be in Thailand, India, UAE, Spain and the UK)...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to CS, I would love to join the community, as someones who normally stays at hostels which are great for meeting people, however there are limited opportunities with local people or people who actually live in those area long term.

I would like to embark on a new adventure and way of travelling, get involved with people who live in the area and have local knowledge, make new friends and experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning to dive in Koh Tao; really opened my eyes, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who hasn't tried. I recently took my 63 year old Dad diving for the first time and he loved it!

Visiting Japan, in 2016 was incredible and had been a lifelong dream, I was fortunate enough to view Mount Fuji at sunrise

I'm always keen to learn new skills and like to keep an open mind, so if someone had a hobby / interest or something they would like to share, I would love to try it!

Every backpacker has their own unique story and I would love to share mine.

Sharing my time, listening, and learning about my hosts experiences, story and outlook on life, would be great. I consider myself to be a good conversationalist, and an active listener, I also really enjoy cooking for others, I'm a new vegan, so if that is something you wanted to explore, i'd be happy to - just no negative reviews on my cooking!!
