ABOUT ME

I am a motivated and enthusiastic person who always wants to learn something new. I love traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing new things in order to gain new perspectives and apply them to my daily life. One of the core principles under which I operate is that actions speak louder than words so I try to live conscientiously and really appreciate people who do the same. I appreciate the little things in life - a smile and a laugh are all I need!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have surfed a couple couches and it has been amazing getting to know some amazing people and seeing an incredible variety of places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just love the warmth that is inherent in the couchsurfing program - I have only had positive experiences so far and it has made my travels so much more meaningful by allowing me an insight into the real lives of locals living in the places I visit!

Interests

Laughter, insightful/kind people, playing sports (especially tennis, but I will try anything!), exploring beautiful parts of nature, learning about totally random things, yummy food, hearing stories, doing craft-y art projects

Music, Movies, and Books

Love inspirational songs but also the meaningless catchy variety, really anything with a happy positive tune! Movies = chick flicks and comedies!! Books - mostly read for school at the moment unfortunately but am always looking for a recommendation of an engaging new read! (love Kite runner, thousand splendid suns, harry potter and hunger games of course, the giver, flowers for algernon, etc...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so fortunate to see not just beautiful places all over the world but also beautiful people who devote their lives to helping others. Selflessness is something that I have come across frequently (a core of the couchsurfer concept!) and I think that is a true wonder of the world!

I guess I would just like to share my point of view - spread love and tolerance, live for the benefit of others and touch as many people's lives as you can!
