Overview
About Me
I recently graduated from Earlham College, studying Arabic and Spanish language and linguistics. During the spring/summer/fall months I work on a small organic vegetable and flower farm in North Carolina. Since it's winter currently, I've been spending my time traveling mostly. For the next month I'll be traveling around Europe, specifically Italy, Greece and Spain.
I love to spend my time traveling, learning new languages, meeting people and learning new skills. I am passionate about sustainable agriculture and herbalism. In my free time I love to read, make art, hike, go to coffee shops, art museums, explore cities, take photos, and cook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people while I travel, to make friends and connections. I would much rather truly get to know a place from the people who live there than just do tourist-y things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple years ago I walked part of the Camino de Santiago, starting in Burgos. I hope to someday be able to walk the entire Camino. It was one of the most profound and life-changing things I have ever experienced.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share stories and ideas. I can share my knowledge of farming and gardening. I find interesting and thought-provoking conversations to be one of the most meaningful things in life. I would love to exchange language and practice Spanish or Arabic with someone, or help them practice English.
I also love to cook, and would be happy to share a meal or teach or learn how to cook something new. I love adventures and would be up for whatever fun activities a host wants to show me.
