我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Hey all!

I used Couchsurfing extensively in my early 20s to meet people in the small German city I lived in as well as to travel. I can confidently say that without Couchsurfing, my experience in Germany would not have been nearly as successful/enjoyable/memorable.

I'm back on Couchsurfing now to find people in Brisbane to crash with.

I live on the Sunshine Coast and commute to school (I'm on a student visa) one day per week in Coopers Plains. It's quite a drive so I've started taking the train. Well, after the school holidays the class will go from one day per week to two! Whaaaaaaat? So instead of driving/riding back and forth 2 days per week, I'm trying to stay Thursday nights in the city.

May I sleep on your couch?

I'm the true meaning of low maintenance and am quite the people pleaser so you can count on me being an easy guest :)

I run most mornings and love a good sunrise or sunset. I socially drink alcohol and am addicted to caffeine just like everyone else.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sailed on a whim with no experience from Tonga to New Zealand on a 42 foot yacht (I was one of 5 crew, the other 4 having heaps of experience between them 🙂)

I hiked a large portion of Te Araroa last year - the 3000km hike the length of New Zealand.

I designed and built a 35m2 cabin with a mate using nearly all recycled materials costing less than $5,000!

So that’s 3 🙃
