About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cram as much in as i can

ABOUT ME

Me? Tall, dark, and handsome. Minus the dark stuff, I'm blonde.

Jokes aside I'm pretty easy going and always down for a laugh. Give me chocolate and I'll be your friend forever. Pretty simple stuff really.

PHILOSOPHY

You get what you put into life. Follow the path you want, not the one that was given to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The houses I have lived in during and after University have always had someone with a couchsurfing account so there was often someone staying on our couch. I, myself, have never done it but I look forward to meeting people on the other end of things!!

Interests

Anything truly Canadian! I grew up canoeing, skiing, and having a good time in the great out-of-doors. Rock climbing, surfing, hiking, kayaking, and pretty much everything else outside is what i live for. On rainy days I like to get to the squash court, curl up with a book, or experiment in the kitchen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I've been reading female pilot books. I'm almost through 'Out of Africa' and just started 'West with the Wind'. There are so many damn good books out there I don't think I could possibly pick a favourite. Kurt Vonnegut is a genius. Shantaram is one of my favourites I have read this year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing? ooosh. Learning how to ride and renting a motorcycle in Laos and Cambodia last year was a pretty crazy and great experience. And if you have been to the bigger cities around there I think you would agree with the crazy!

Teach, Learn, Share

What I am able to teach: Anything about the outdoors in Ontario. Recently I have been taught how to fly small airplanes so ask me about that!

What I would like to learn: Anything and everything. I am always interested in the ecology of an area!
