About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to broaden horizons in life and see of much of the world as i can in this life

ABOUT ME

trying to figure out where i want to make my homebase...newly single, divorce finalized last month!! prior military service, no children...

PHILOSOPHY

don't quite have a personal philosophy yet, this gives me something to think about over the bus rides...i live my life to see beautiful things, experience once in a lifetime events, and to meet many different individuals...of course for many other reasons...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

when i did have a house in alaska i allowed a variety of people to stay with me

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have had great surfing experiences, most of which were not necessarily delightful however were GREATLY appreciated...always cleaned or did some odd jobs around house to compensate if money wasn't accepted

Interests

anything that goes fast! animals, children, photography, forensic pathology, pharmacology, raw foods, any type of foreign food

  • animals
  • photography
  • dining
  • raw food
  • surfing

Music, Movies, and Books

haven't watched a movie for a long time...in the middle of False Memory by Dean Koontz...a book about autophobia...fear of oneself. psycological thrillers and true crime books are among faves. i am open to absolutely any kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

showing up in hawaii not knowing a single person and being so welcomed into the community and feeling so cared for...thank you OAHU!

Teach, Learn, Share

don't discriminate, appreciate. We are like a hundred dollar bill that has been soiled and cleaned, torn and taped, circulated and used...it doesn't matter what that hundred dollar bill has been through...it is still worth a hundred dollars and someone still wants it. simplified, we will always be worth what we were in the beginning and someone will always want us. don't ever let anyone tell you different.
