I surf to meet people on a similar wavelength and to learn from those who've been traveling longer than I. We can learn so much from each other. Travel isn't about the destination, it's the people you meet along the way.

Music: Anything I can dance to.
Current favorites: Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Sharon Van Etten, Broken Social Scene, Baths, Lucius, ODESZA, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Grimes, Braids, Warpaint, Tame Impala .... this list will go on forever. Worked previously as a music journalist so I am always adding to this list.

Movies: Will give any one a chance, I'm forever a student of film and can learn from anything visual.
Favorites: The Thin Red Line, Almost Famous, Harold and Maude, Shame, 12 Years a Slave, Crash, Grand Budapest Hotel, Interstellar. Love me some Terrence Malick, Wes Anderson,Steve McQueen and space movies!

Books: 'How Should a Person Be' by Sheila Heti, 'Wind up Bird Chronicles' - Haruki Murakami
