ABOUT ME

friendly, easy-going, I love to make my friends laugh! I can go out and be quite social with new people, but I also value having some quiet time to myself.
I love traveling and living abroad - the term "wanderlust" comes to mind! I feel most alive when I'm out of my comfort zone, in an unfamiliar country/culture, and having to learn about new social customs and adapt.
I also love learning new languages and learning about them - I studied linguistics at university, and will eventually be going back to school to get my Masters and PhD in Linguistics!

Music: jazz, big band, folk, indie, house/dubstep/rap, pop, rock - any genre except for hardcore metal haha
When it comes to books, I love love love classics. Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" is my all time favorite book.
I'll watch any movie as long as it isn't a horror movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a half-marathon whose finish line was in an Olympic stadium.
