ABOUT ME

Mature woman who loves to travel as much as I can. Left home to see the world at 18 which I did for 4 years until children and now that I've completed the family raising I'm off again. When I am home I like meeting new people and sharing ideas, food and stories of others travels.
I have a spare bed and a few ounces of hospitality to offer so why not share it with travelers?
Please note that I am in Bangalow (15km from Byron Bay) You need to have your own transport to get here and around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in my early 50's and have 3 grown kids, two still live at home but living there own lives. I love to travel and know it can be nice to get out of the hotel/hostel for a little while and meet local people.
I grow native plants, love the bush so could take you there. I can show you some of this area (time and work commitments permitting).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a few guests at my home which have been lovely and just surfed my first couch in NZ.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Motorcycle journey through the Central Highlands of Vietnam is probably the top amazing thing I've done but there is plenty more I could mention and hopefully plenty more to come.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you about Australian plants.
Learning Indonesian so when I go back to West Timor and more remote parts up that way I can talk to the people, would love to meet anyone who can speak it with me.
Will share with you the best places I know around here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just good company and semi-intelligent conversation :) I can cook quite well, can always share that.
