ABOUT ME

I am a philosophy major, I'm studying history and philosophy of science, and it is pretty cool because I get to read all these ridiculous things that people like Planck, Einstein, Maxwell, Heisenberg, Schrodinger, Neils Bohr, John Bell, et al wrote!! (remember these famous ppl from high school chemistry class?). Especially cool is when you find something they wrote in the type-writer written manuscript :) :)

Aside from academics, I sing in an a capella group but I'm not sure if I'm actually all that good at singing. I want to learn more piano also! I really like Chopin. And I'd like to learn jazz piano. :)

I'm interested in animal rights, environment and sustainability issues, and basically whatever I can do to make the world a better place.

I like reading, writing, surfing wikipedia, and am trying to learn some more computer programming too.

I am looking for couches to surf in Trinidad, Italy, or Bulgaria for the summer :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had lots of fun times staying on friends am currently couch-surfing (kind of) at a woman's house in Montijo, Portugal, through a volunteer program and trying to learn Portuguese - e muito dificil!!
floors at universities, or a cappella tours where another school group hosts us :)

I hosted musicians in a German band at my dorm here :)
